the employee brings his performance back to an acceptable level, the
employee shall be given an
appraisal documenting that fact (“successful performance requirements”
or above). The employee
remains in the position.
If the employee’s performance does not improve during the time
specified in the warning notice, the employee should be given a
“unsuccessful performance requirements” rating and be removed from the
position (i.e. termination, demotion, or reassignment).
